Since 1988, the United States has celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15. This month-long celebration honors the rich cultures, histories, and countless contributions of Hispanic communities across the country.

It’s the perfect opportunity to showcase the diversity of Spanish-speaking countries and bring these perspectives into the classroom.

Here are some recommended resources to help you highlight Hispanic culture in meaningful and age-appropriate ways with your elementary Spanish students:
