This is a wonderful because the emojis and signs enhances the positive classroom environment. In addition, this activity could be a wonderful method as a formative assessment. The emojis and signs can be placed on the tables and when the teacher wants to check for understanding, the students will be able to show the particular emoji or sign to indicate their comprehension. This is a great way to bring the classroom together and get a feel where the students are located with regard to the lesson. I plan to incorporate this assessment especially for my beginning levels of Spanish. The students will find this fun.
