As Valentine’s day approaches, we are looking for activities and ideas to use with our students. There are few moments in the classroom to use phrases like this one and Valentine’s day is giving us a great opportunity to put language into context. This short and simple song will help your students learn two simple phrases that they can use at school with their friends or at home with their families.
Te quiero,
Te quiero,
Tú eres mi corazón.
Te quiero,
Te quiero,
Tú eres mi corazón.
After teaching the song your students can practice colors with this fun freebie that includes a memory game and coloring pages. Download the free game and coloring pages HERE!
Thanks for sharing your awesome ideas and for participating in our collaborative linky. 🙂

Hola Carolina, Thanks for all your amazing ideas. I really enjoy looking at your work and using your cool activities! thanks for the power point "vamos a bailar". I just not sure how it works and I will like to be able to use with my students. So I played it in Power point presentation mode, but I am not able to hear the music. It keeps spinning around the music style but does not play it. Any advices?
thanks
Jennys
Hi Jennys,
Thank you for writing here! To be able to listen to the sound you need to have the presentation on the "presenter mode" and click on the word "girar", you will hear the sound that way. I hope this helps! Please feel free to contact me again!

¡De nada! 🙂
Hi Carolina!
Thank you for sharing the link with brainbreaks as well as ideas for Valentine’s Day. I like how once again you incorporate music into the classroom. My middle schoolers respond to music well and it draws them into the lesson with ease. I am looking for an online tool to select certain portions of YouTube videos for use in class instead of having to search the entire video over and over again. Did you use some sort of online tool in order to post just this clip of the song?
Thanks!
Christina
