ABOUT ME

I am a Colombian language educator with over 20 years of experience. I hold a B.A. in Languages and Education from the Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia, and a Master’s degree in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. Currently, I teach Spanish to elementary students at an independent school in Cambridge, MA.
I specialize in teaching Spanish as a world language to elementary students, combining my passion for language and culture through storytelling. I create engaging and effective resources that align with comprehensible input (CI) methodologies, making language learning fun and accessible for young learners. As a Spanish teacher, presenter, curriculum writer, and author, I provide training for educators, develop curriculum, and create stories and materials that support language acquisition.
Beyond the classroom, I love connecting with and building a community of educators through my blog, Fun for Spanish Teachers, as well as through social media, conferences, and workshops.
